"The Luck Esan medium room was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The shower, airco, wifi, lighting, frig, flat tv all operated well. There is cupboard space, table, chair. The staff is friendly and efficient. A large Lotus supermarket and an 711 is within a 5 minute walk. The hotel has no lift. A ground floor room with microwave and free coffee is nice to use. "

"Ubon itself has taken a hit from the closure due to co-vid. This place was nicely kept up despite obvious lack of business recently. Nicer than others I visited nearby. Little too well lit at night. I'll bring my eye shades next time. Local stray dogs not as aggressive as many places in Thailand are having problems with. Especially at night. A short safe walk to the airport. "The rooms are fine and the bathroom although 'ageing' was crucially kept clean, with hot water there for shaving! The real downside is breakfast. Instant coffee, white toast and supposedly a cooked item to be ordered. On morning 1, I asked for pork fried rice (Khao pad moo). It came slowly and was lukewarm at best. "Booked to stay in one of the shared dorms, but they gave me a room with two beds. The facilities like the bathroom and room were basic, but clean and functional. The common areas like the hand washing and kitchenette area were also clean. The room was really only large enough for the the two beds, with a nightstand for each bed being the only other furnishing. The beds were soft by Thai standards, but okay.
