"First, I had replied to a message about arrival, saying we would be arriving at 9:15 p.m. I understand that this is late but when we arrived there was no one around. We realize that we chose a very inexpensive room for a one night stay but we were a party of 5 stuck in an odd corner of the motel. There were no front windows. The windows we had were up high with little egress. How I would have ever hoisted my grandchildren out those windows if there was a fire or something, I can't imagine. The bathroom was closed off from the room which was nice when getting ready in the morning but it was tiny and offered little in the way of counter space or amenities. The shower was odd. We had a problem keeping the water inside the shower and not on the floor because of the way the shower curtain was. The beds were reasonably comfortable but the floor was disgusting. I made the mistake of walking barefoot on the laminate flooring and then got in bed with grit all over my feet which was now in the bed. Gross! If you are going to put laminate flooring in your motel then clean the floor!! My daughter and her family stayed in another room on the property and there was dog hair all over the floor. It was completely clear that the corporation that owns the property is only concerned about the bottom line. Oh and I had to kill two spiders as soon as we walked into the room. Next time we need to stay in Winnemucca It will NOT be at a property owned by this group!"

"Our AC did not work and apparently many others did not either, so the room was quite hot and affected our sleep badly. No help from the front desk. Our cleaning lady eventually brought in an old one that helped a bit and she helped fix the TV which also did not work at first. There was also a lot of noise from backup alarms on work vehicles at this motel and the adjacent ones, many of them going off at 4 AM and waking us up."

"I had the King bedroom suite with a sofa, chair, and a huge TV. I have been traveling with lots of stops, and while it is an older hotel, it was very clean, and I would go back next time in Winnemucca."

"Disgustingly filthy unkept room. Slept in a sleeping bag because the room was filthy. Crime scene tape still attached to entry doorway jamb. Towel rack ripped from the wall never repaired. Dirty, sticky residue on the front and top of the fridge. An ABSOLUTE filthy room. Property not maintained, cleaned or cared for. The second worst place I have ever paid to stay at. In the simplest of terms, NEVER AGAIN. I will sleep in my truck along the freeway before I ever stay here again."
