"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. "Absolutely an amazing resort in Phuket. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with cozy couches, and a seating area on the balcony as well as a soak tub. 2 min walk to the beach with a ton of restaurants, massage parlors, and shops on the strip. Must book a reservation at Black Ginger restaurant, Rivet Restaurant, and the brunch they host on Sundays. They also do a BBQ on Wednesday nights so reserve that as well. I'm leaving 10lbs heavier...

"For us the Villa with own pool is the best option to go for. Last time we stayed we had breakfast and diner included whereas this time we went for all meals plus two cocktails each day and a treatment each in the Spa. Having all meals was a mistake as we found that we couldn’t eat everything but for those with a large appetite it would be worthwhile. We would like to mention the lady who made up our Villa every day. Her name was Amm and she was a treasure being super efficient. "
