"Our maid, Mariam (small young woman) was exceptionally good! The front desk was helpful and professional. A pamphlet or conversation about ,the amenities would be very helpful. Workout area breakfast and or brunch, laundry etc. We spoke little Spanish and the staff generally spoke little English so that was a stumbling block. We definitely could have prepared ourselves better. There was quite a bit of protesting and camping out in the street in front of the hotel. To no fault of their own, but better communication with the guests could have made that situation feel more secure and or safe. We were in Mexico City 12 days and enjoyed the culture very much.
