"Great convenient hotel location. Breakfast was great and staff was friendly. Free parking would have been nice. The beds were average when it comes to comfort and unfortunately the pool and hot tub were closed during our stay."

"Individual cabins. covered porch with 2 chairs and a small picnic table. Lots of pine trees and quaking aspen.Shirt walk to the main drag but very quiet. within walking distance of town center/square. "
"The room is ok, nothing exciting. There is a huge dirty looking fireplace. The room is not worth what the cost is to rent it. They have a little coffee bar but there is no where to plug the coffee pot in. "
"We booked a one night stay at the Golden Eagle. It was the least expensive property available (nothing in Jackson is cheap) and honestly we were not expecting much judging from the pictures. It looked old and we figured it was very well used. It was a last minute reservation and when we arrived a a couple hours early I also asked if it would be possible to have a room on the first floor. The very pleasant manager behind the desk happily obliged and then said that the room would be ready in a few minutes. She handed me the card for the room and by the time I pulled the car across the lot to the room the housekeeper was done and we were able to move right in. The room was basic but it was very neat and clean, surprisingly spacious and everything was in working order. The location is a short walk to the center of Jackson where there is plenty of dining and shopping available. I would gladly stay there again."
