"This place was amazing! We didn’t do too much research before booking our stay here and were blown away. It’s a traditional Italian villa and the location is amazing! A short walk to the centre of Montecatini Alto."
"The Staff are very helpful. The location is excellent situated between Firenze and Pisa. The town montecatini is very nice, and has good local bus and train links which are very cheap which enabled us to visit Firenze, Pisa, Siena and Viareggio, we had a great time."
"The booking was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. Really liked the convenience of prepaid parking; the car was in a secure and safe gated area.
The front desk staff was both cordial and courteous. Especially Rafael, had has quite the witty sense of humour.
Thanks to Expedia we found this hotel and I would highly recommend. It made our stay in Montecatini all that much more enjoyable. "
"An absolutely beautiful hotel close to the centre of town. Everyone there was warm and friendly. The room was well maintained, comfortable and clean. Parking was very inexpensive and very convenient. A great place overall!"
"Perfect location both for staying in Montecatini, as well as lolacation for goint out seeing attractions in the region. Most interesting cities within an hour from hotel.
Super nice staff, great breakfast, and hotel well maintained."
"Beautiful hotel right in the central piazza and just a short walk to restaurants, parks and the funicular. Breakfast choices a little limited but still good. A lovely place to stay."

"Very kind and always helpful staff, particularly the lovely Mary who runs a tight ship and is an excellent cook - her breakfast cakes were delicious. Rooms are very clean, but basic, with limited TV channels, and a system that is not really air conditioning and struggled in the hot days. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms whilst clean, only have the fabric sheets for towels and problematic showers. Take your ear plugs! Location is handy and walkable, and lots of local bars and eating options within minutes. If you’re on a budget and want clean and basic, this is the place, otherwise select the next category up."
"Air conditioning did not work at all. Hard beds with springs everywhere. Pillows paper thin and was so bad needed to look for another hotel. Pictures were misleading."
"Aircon is turned off overnight - undisclosed hotel policy & a nightmare in August!
We booked this hotel for one reason: AIR CONDITIONING. After a long, scorching drive with an unwell baby and young child, we needed somewhere cool. The website and Expedia promised aircon, yet shortly after midnight it shut off. Reception told us it is deliberately switched off until 6am - nowhere was this disclosed! The night receptionist was apologetic & kind, but said the hotel had no fans. Shocking, given the ridiculous aircon policy at the peak of summer!
We were on the second floor with no window bars, so opening them was too dangerous; the thought of our child climbing out and falling was horrifying. We had no safe alternative and suffered an unbearable night. Our baby cried in the heat, our older child tossed and sweated, and we paid for a service we did not receive.
The hotel is shabby and falling apart: stained carpets, smelly towels, ragged bathmats, chipped furniture, minimal toiletries & a single cheap roll of toilet paper for a family of four. Everything screams a shoestring budget, yet it advertises itself as more. Guests are misled, cheated, & left frustrated; the hotel earns bad reviews instead of loyalty.
This review reflects only our experience in this room. We wish we'd never booked and were drained the next day. Do not be fooled by photos or the aircon listing. If you value comfort, health, and your money, stay elsewhere until management finally invests in improvments!"
"Everyone was very friendly, specifically the staff at the bar. Breakfast buffet was nice with many options and good coffee. Room was very clean and had a lot of soace. Bathroom was nice with a good shower. Air Conditioner and n the room worked well. Pool could have more sun chairs as it was like all the time crowded during our stay in August. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants in the center (10 minutes) The Funicolare to Montecantini Alto is also only 15 minutes by feet away. "
