"Hotel is located near Mazatlan letters, just cross the street and you also have beach access. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel for 1 full week of February in Carnaval Mazatlan 2026. It was the best hotel choice we made and will be back to Varali. Rooftop pool was amazing and sunrise and sunset views from the pool were priceless. Hotel room was clean and comfortable bed, everything inside room worked fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had."

"Gaviana is a bit old, but with many upgrades to meet the modern world and one's needs. It is perfectly located in the Golden Zone (Zona Dorada) with many restaurants, shops and entertainment just walking distance. They have their own spa, private access to the beach, buffet, pool and great ambiance."

"I liked that the room was clean with clean bedding. Overall, the hotel is clean. What I didn't like is that there's a coffee maker in the room but no free coffee to make or no cups. You have to buy the coffee to make. I walked about a block down the street and bought a large cup of coffee with cream and sugar for about 2 dollars. The other thing I didn't like was that they didn't have a wash cloth to shower with."
