"Photos and reviews can sometimes be misleading, but this was not the case with Hotel Canoe. From the moment we arrived it was apparent that the hotel was in fact situated in as beautiful a setting as the on photos suggest and things only got better from there with customer service upon check-in, room finishing and thoughtful details, luxury spa/retreat-like amenities, and on-site dining options all exceeding our expectations. "Room was great, we had the bottom floor with a door right by the car. There were plenty of towel hooks which a lot of hotel/motels don't have. Good counter space, charging outlets, even the motion activated night light was nice. Only addition I'd make, speaking as a senior, would be a grab bar in the shower. Check-in was easy. Breakfast was good. "
