wonderful beds

this hotel was at the end of our week long vacation. we were tired and a little cranky. we needed a cozy bed and smooshy pillows. oh, and the pool and hot tub were fantastic!! I slept for 10 hours straight that night!

Good new hotel in Northern Ontario

We arrived after some simple living on a nearby lake island and we were ready for the home comforts of a hot shower and good bed. The hotel looks almost new, the room was the best we had stayed in during a 3 week holiday, the complimentary breakfast was excellent as was the swimming pool (although it was a bit small). All in all an excellent stay.

Hello i am so sorry to provide feedback as usually i don't do this however the washroom in my room had hair all over the floor this was from when someone finished mopping and was left behind it was just really gross I have stayed at the hotel previosly without any issues however this time it was bad for a place to charge a premium dollar for the room they should pay attention to detail

Miss Claybelt Rising to the Occasion

Two night stay was not a disappointment! Nice to have this new option in town with a big city appeal while still aware of rural daily activities. Ideally located on a major route and close to a variety of restaurants in the TRI-TOWN area, and within 25 minutes of Notre Dame du Nord QU. The room was spacious, clean, equipped with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, comfortable king bed, iron, hairdryer as well as wireless access. Staff were pleasant and the complementary breakfast was more than adequate to start the day. Being that the facility is very new, furnishings and décor maintains a fresh look. Hopefully, a mechanism is in place for patrons to identify maintenance issues as they arise, and that remedial actions will be taken to maintain this fresh clean look for years to come. Grounds are lovely with spacious parking and elevators for those with accessibility concerns.

Holiday Inn New Liskeard

I love this hotel but I find that the nightly rate is high for a small town like New Liskeard. Maybe I am cheap but when I can get nightly rates around Toronto Airport for the same as a hotel in New Liskeard, I think the rate is a bit high. Competition nearby is old and run down so I guess they can charge a premium.
