Customer service was above and beyond! They don't have an elevator so they helped with our luggage to the 3rd floor. Conveniently located in downtown and very close to the beach and restaurants. Comfortable room with high ceiling.

Really nice little hotel if you want to stay close to Rothschild boulevard. Very decently priced and has all the needed facilities. Nothing fancy and gets the job done. Would definitely stay again.

Very good business trip

Very well placed, close to the Great Synagogue, easy to reach bus stations, Dizengoff center and Shouk HaCarmel. It's a quiet place and the people of the hotel are really nice.

Perfect location!

Easy to check-in and out, location perfect and very nice host. Room with balcony but no time to sit there. Nice with coffe-bar at the entrance. If you are sensitive for noise it might impact you. We strongly recommend this place!

We were just looking for a nice place to spend 1 night in. Unfortunately we received a not so pleasant welcome at the check-in from the receptionist who is apparently also the security guard…? Also, weak A/C which is a big problem in the Israeli summer. Dead cockroach on the floor. The faucet in the toilet is covered in limescale. By the time we went to sleep - a bothersome repetitive beep sound from the reception (which our room was nearby) that went on all night long because of a broken smoke detector in one of the rooms.

Comfortable and convenient

Tel Aviv is a big city and it’s impossible to be centrally located to everything. We were very happy with the location. It was an easy walk to the market and to the beach. Check-in was easy, the room was comfortable and the hotel arranged a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay, which was very helpful Just a quick note, there is no elevator so you might have to walk the stairs to your room Compared to many of the other hotels that we looked at in Tel Aviv I thought the accommodation was very reasonably priced

I booked a room that I would have payed at the arrival but they took the money from my credit card without my knowledge. Then the room was really small and not very clean. The bed was very hard. The Hotel is old and need refreshment. But the location is good and the staff were nice. We won’t stay there anymore.

I join the group of people who wrote about thin walls. I'm normally a good sleeper, but I was awaken every time when a person in next room came in late and used a key, took a shower, and when somebody was leaving early in the morning. The room does need some repairs on the ceiling. Though fixtures are news.

Just want to say there was no wastepaper basket in the room so I had to throw my rubbish (and I had a lot) on the floor (room 15) which I found distressing. I wouldn't do it in my own home and was not happy to do it there. They lent me an umbrella for 3 days which I appreciated

Old hotel, not very clean.

1. Very kind staff, but you only saw them rarely. 2. Hotel in general very old and not in a good condition, especially bathroom was old. 3. Bad cleaning: bathroom not clean upon arrival, towels dirty, room in general a little messy. 4. Poor service, e.g. one night an alarm went off (false alarm), but no one turned it off until the next morning. I had to sleep with ear plugs. 5. Hotel is in a very nice part of town, but comparing the price to nearby hotels, I would not recommend this one.

Nice hotel with promise

Montefiore 16 definitely has some of the looks of a nice hotel with a less pricey tag than some of the other bigger hotels in Tel Aviv. The rooms are all very well decorated and, overall, I had a very nice stay and would stay here again. There are some things, however, that would make the stay better for me (and possibly other travelers). A few things that could be improved are: - While there is a coffee machine and sugar, I could not find any milk in the 2 separate rooms I stayed in - As others have said in reviews, check-in is only available during a certain time which isn't crystal clear when making the booking. While they are happy to give you a key code to enter the building to retrieve your key, it would be nice to have a welcome email before your stay to tell you this information rather than searching through the reviews - There are bottles in the fridge, but there is no bottle opener - Some attention to detail in the room would make it much better - such as cleaning the air vents (they were very dusty), cleaning the rain shower head, and ensuring that floorboards aren't loose or uneven.

Idéal

Un hôtel très bien placé dans Tel Aviv près du marché et de la plage. Accueil attentionné avec vin et gâteaux. Pas de personnel de réception mais cela se fait facilement avec une clé à notre nom Jolie chambre confortable. Nous n’avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner car départ tôt pour l’aéroport
