"The Ayers Alpine Lodge is a little gem. It has a nice private outdoor area to enjoy some quiet or have a family get together. The breakfast had a variety of choices, and the pool and spa were well maintained."
"Well, there are squatters living. There are very rude and nasty, which is kind of messed up when we’re actually paying customers and they’re just squatters not paying for anything acting like they own the place but they pretty much do."
"Very unsafe property. Homeless people all around, prostitutes around 1/2 dressed. Not suitable for a family stay! The rooms are ok. Door barely closed and didn’t seem safe either. We didn’t even stay ended up cancelling and renting a last minute hotel instead!! Would NEVER book again. The front desk clerk was so rude and we had to fight for a refund. He claimed it’s okay no one bothers you but we had stranger men coming up to our kids and harassing us. Would not recommend. 0/10. Pictures are deceiving and the property looks nothing like the photos. Very run down, smells awful, and renovations that haven’t been completed, as well as the elevator smells of urine. Pay the extra for a better hotel. This is not worth it."
Studio 6 Suites San Ysidro, CA -San Diego South Bay
6/10 Okay
"The room did not have the amenities the other Studio 6 properties have had. It seemed like a regular hotel room. There was no hairdryer. No table and chairs. Our window didn't have a screen on it. The shower leaked and splashed the floor if shower door was open. I was grossed out after my shower because the towel had hair all over it which some got on my body. It was quiet and felt relatively safe though. Good restaurant and taco vendor near by."
"Clean white room, large comfortable beds, good air conditioning, staff behind a pass through window and door to lobby locked, I asked for an extra towel since we were two sisters and the men behind the pass through window said we had 3 towels for 2 people… no one available at pass through window when we left key so we left keycard at the pass through slot… parking for cars available but homeless people around sitting at street curve in front of hotel. No pool access available"
