Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely. The room was right sized and clean. Every part of the common areas was also very clean.
The breakfast was also very good with a wide range only options
The only bit of a small bother was the location which is a bit away from the main attractions. But the hotel provides a pick up and drop option. Although you are best off if you have your own car

Great local hotel within easy walking distance from the train station in Tavira. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our 4 night stay. Comfortable modern room with smart new bathroom and balcony overlooking well kept gardens. Decent sized outdoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip on an afternoon. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, nice selection of breads and choice of local speciality cakes & pastries. Brilliant value for money but a little bit on the outskirts of town so if...

We had an excellent twelve days. Staff could not have been more helpful; including giving guidance on how to travel by coach/bus to Vilamoura, I was grateful for the attention to detail - even printing off the timetable for me, and discussing the practicalities. The thing which impressed me the most was the willingness of the staff to ensure that you had a great stay - suggestions about activities for my child were personalised. The buffet breakfast was more than sufficient, we were B and B...

Friendly staff. Excellent location. Good views of Tavira. Historical sites within walking distance. The pick up point for the boat trip is within 20 metres of the hotel. Plenty of variety at breakfast including scrambled eggs and bacon. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Just returned from another lovely stay at Vila Gale. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a river view room with a lovely aspect overlooking the ferry and boats on the river. There was plenty of variety at breakfast and great to sit outside in the sunshine. We made good use of the shuttle bus to take us into town ... unfortunately it still doesn't run on Monday or Tuesday . Ferries to the wonderful Terra Estreita beach were very always on...

Spacious, quiet and beautiful hotel in a former convent. Tastefully and sympathetically converted, peaceful gardens and pool, beautiful open courtyard. Some of the best dining in town. Staff were exemplary, friendly and highly skilled. Wifi was good and male parking for guests. Very highly recommended.

Out of this world. Aesthetically perfect. A place to really relax and switch off. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I would come back here again in a heartbeat. Superb.

The welcome was very warm. Staff spoke both portuguese and English. The hotel is approx 400m from the Roman Bridge, just a stroll away on foot. Breakfast is good and is nicy presented on a wooden plank. Very modern rooms, one negative point is the lack of power sockets (only 2 in the room), especially near the bed. As we are always prepared, we brought a 4-gang, to be able to charge 2 mobile phones and 2 Tablets.
There is a small pool on the roof ferrace, we didn't make use of it so we cannot...

Lovely family stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Perfumes. The room was spacious and the bed was big enough for the two of us and our 2-year-old. We loved the beautiful swimming pools surrounded by orange trees, and the bikes with a child seat were a great touch — we enjoyed cycling to the nearby town.
Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the fresh orange juice was a must! 🍊 All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Elizabeth, who was very nice and helpful to us...

A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We hired a car to explore the area and towards the Spanish border, and we were always able to find a free parking space in the surrounding streets around the...

Really nice grounds to walk around and relax in. Staff were very friendly and giving us some great advice on things to see in the local area. Short walk in to the main part of Tavira for restaurants in the evening. We had a very nice couple of days here.

All the staff were charming and exceptionally helpful. Rooms and communal areas were immaculately clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable with new mattresses. Airport Transfers were arranged for us and reasonably priced. The driver was a friendly character too.
