It was a very good stay except the night we arrived we couldn’t find the place. It took us an extra 45 mins to get there and it was dark and barley any street lights.

Room was great. Bathroom was very large and well appointed. Breakfast was not great. No fruit and only one juice option. With this one exception, it was a great stay.

Ein netter, sehr ruhiger Ort für ein paar Tage.
Wir wurde im House at Glennbarr sehr herzlich begrüsst. Der Besitzer und seine Mitarbeiterinnen halfen uns mit guten Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück wurde im zum Haus zugehörigen Gewächshaus serviert und war ausgesprochen gut. Zudem bietet das Haus auch einen kleinen Shop mit allerlei lokalen Köstlichkeiten. Unser Zimmer war zweckmässig und hübsch eingerichtet. Ein wenig irritierend fand ich die auf den Hotelplatformen gezeigten Strand-bilder. Der nächste Strand ist ca 20 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Um herum zu kommen, empfiehlt sich eine Auto.

Wonderful Glenbarr
Above and beyond our expectations. This accommodation was 5 star, vegan platter amazing, hosts very friendly, a really pleasant experience all round.

Lovely place to stay
Lovely place to stay, very clean and confortable beds. Super powerful shower one of the best in any where we've stayed. Breakfast was in the their cafe next door, part of their store & garden centre, just what we needed to start the day. The only negative - would have preferred breakfast to be available around 8am rather than 9am. But other than that would return and stay there again if in the area.

Great few days away
The accomodation was lovely and cosy. The bed was very comfy and we got great nights sleep. There is an communal area with a well equipment kitchen and sitting area with a TV, coffee table and board games plus a dining table. There is a wee shop to buy food or drink, a garden centre and cafe. The food is superb as are the staff. We had a dog with us who is nervous dog and the staff were so good with her. The staff talked to our dog and made her feel at ease.

Séjour particulièrement chaleureux dans une chambre très confortable, spacieuse, moderne et joliment décorée, L’ensemble attenant à l’épicerie du village. Vous y serez extrêmement bien reçus. La cour intérieure et sa serre fleurie vous accueillent pour une pause « coffee Tea ». Le breakfast soigné et copieux vous permettra de bien commencer votre journée. Une adresse exceptionnelle qui mérite votre visite et 2 nuits sur place.

Waren beim Eintreffen aufgrund der ursprünglichen Fassade erst etwas verunsichert, dahinter verbirgt sich jedoch ein kleines Paradies! Hatten die Hayloft gebucht - erstaunlich die Symbiose aus alter Substanz und moderner Umsetzung. Sehr geräumig. Alles sauber und gut ausgestattet. Gutes Frühstück! Ganz besonderes Lob gilt den ausgesprochen netten und sympathischen Betreibern! Diese und die Mitarbeiter sind mit sehr viel Herzblut bei der Sache! 100 Prozent Empfehlung.

An excellent place to stay
Excellent experience in all aspects. Personnel excels in all aspects, efficiency and friendliness. The room and kitchen are exceptionally good. Room is large and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. A store and a restaurant both with good products, and in the same complex, makes life easier.
