Search Bed and Breakfasts in Taranto Station

"Firstly I’ll give the positives: The rooms clean and the bed comfortable. Locations good. Not so positives: Entry; I wasn’t sure how we were to gain entry as I’d received a message a couple of days before re getting there before 7pm. I replied to it but got no response. We’d planned walking from the station but had to get a taxi. It cost 20€! (5 mins) Not because it’s far but because we had to get there by 7pm. Arrive to locked door, no instructions. "Most charming place! Balcony. Guitars in the room you were free to use. Extremely nice hosts. We never slept better. Perfect breakfast was included. We sure would like to return. "

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short. Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean. "

"Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

"To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by.
