The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside.

We had a lovely night at Tathya Hills - the staff were very helpful regarding our travel plans and also gave very good food recommendations. The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathroom. Location wise everywhere we wanted to go was within a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk.

Lovely staff and service

Budget priced hotel in an excellent location near to centre but quiet. Excellent breakfast, lovely sitting area and attentive staff. Would recommend

Fabulous old world luxury. We had a lovely afternoon tea on the terrace. Soaked in the spa pool. Wandered the immaculate gardens. Had a world tour for breakfast. A lovely relaxed stay surrounded be helpful happy staff.

Excellent hotel with professional helpful staff. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a fridge in the room

We stayed for three nights in December. Apart from the fact that the rooms are amazing (we could have had a party for 30 in our room), the thing that really made it for us was the attitude of the staff. They were attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Do try to fit in a tour of the tea plantations and waterfalls. The scenery will blow your mind!

Truly an amazing stay - all the staff were wonderful (Shan was great and very helpful!). Food was wonderful and it was the perfect rest we needed.

Awesome

The location of the hotel is incomparable. We loved the opportunity to stay in an historic building which has been lovingly restored. We were incredibly well looked after by everyone who works at the hotel and highly recommend this accommodation and the delicious food we ate.

Fabulous eco-retreat in the rural wilderness of Sri Lanka. Loved the feel and vibe of this resort. Everyone was super friendly and we came away very relaxed after a two night stay. Unlike anywhere wise we visited on our two week trip. Recommended

+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you again Sameera, we will hopefully see you again one day! - Only slight negative is that it could have more photographs of the historical figures or building itself going up the...

We stopped here on the way to Ella from Kandy and glad we did!! This is a small place but you wouldn’t know it! The rooms are very spacious and the hosts were amazing, one even tended to my partners ankle after she sprained it! The food is also amazing, chef on site with a wide menu of things to eat!

Beautiful view and amazing friendly staff
