"This property was great for my family and I. My only complaint was that it was impossible to find. We didn't receive the real address until check in time. Maybe it was our cell service but we we're unable to find the address given. Once we found it, we dropped a pin to remember how to get back each time we left the apartment. "We were astonished as soon as we walked into this unit. It was on the 12th floor right on the harbour and the view is incredible. You can easily see where it gets is name from. "We have been here for one week holiday. The position of the complex is quite convenient (it is located near the most beautiful and populated area in St. Paul's Bay), but our experience was not satisfactory at all. The building is very old, the room cleaning service below the minimum acceptable level (no liquid soap refill, no towels change) and the shower very difficult to use. The only slight drawback is that the car park is a 6 or 8 minute walk away; a multi-storey above a supermarket in High Street. Always seemed to be plenty of spaces there. "

"The view and location were what sold me on Barcelo. Cant beat a view across the water to fabulous viiew of Valletta. Location to restaurants and the ferry or other rental boats was great Our room was really huge and very modern. Our balcony was also a plus. Worth the extra money to get a room with a view. "

"I've stayed in a few hotels around St Julian's but this is the first time I've gone as a family with small kids. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast selection in our section was great. Gym facilties are very good, there is a games area for kids with PlayStation, TV and some other games though the arcade machine needs a bit of attention. Room service was really fast, good value for money and surprisingly tasty. The area is very busy and is mainly full of tourists. The is no hotel parking but I was able to find a parking spot everyday within 5 minutes walk which was free. There is a car park next door but I think it is €15 a day. I would definitely recommend it. If you're young the clubs and bars outside are everywhere plus the is the usual western fast food places. 5 stars from me as the kids were happy. "
