During my consecutive stay, I returned to my room slightly before housekeeping had finished cleaning. The housekeeper kindly said it was fine for me to enter, but while they were packing up their cleaning gear, I noticed they were using my charger—which I had left plugged in—to charge their own personal phone. Using a guest’s personal property without authorization undermines the trust we place in your service. It is truly regrettable, as I was completely satisfied with all other aspects of my stay. Guest amenities and personal belongings are not intended for staff use, and employees should strictly use their own devices and chargers.

Basic but clean, and unusual in having 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds in a long large room, at the standard range of price for a double room elsewhere. Our family of four enjoyed our stay. Right next to an MRT subway train station.

Check Inn November 2023

Check Inn was F-Hotel which changed ownership July 2023. Minor difference in hotel operation but service improved a little. A good place to stay in Taipei for few days.

Overall, the stay is fine. The property is pretty clean and the stuffs there try to up keep with it and if you need new towels or make the bed, they can do it for you daily. The showers and bathrooms are pretty clean. The gym is minimal and they have opening and closing time. The MRT is just around the corner and there are plenty of food options on the Main Street. My only downside I would say is the individual rooms are really small and you will have hard time to keep the your stuffs because of limited space in there.

I stayed in a single traveler’s room which was small but clean. It had a shared bathroom which was spotless with plenty of showers. The washing machines and dryers are free to use and there is a free water station. There is a Cama Coffee connected to the lobby which is very convenient. The MRT is just around the corner. Highly recommend for solo travellers.

F Hotel Nov. 2023

Check Inn was F-Hotel before July 1st, 2023. This is a simple, clean, above average hotel. Convenient access to subway transportation. Minor improvement recommended: upgrade laundry machines, provide steam irons, coffee maker and espresso machine (was freely available in break room on third floor.

The location of Check Inn is good, right next to the MRT station. However, it is dirty, especially in the shower stall - the grout has mold. The toilet area and the shower stall are very small. The washer opening around the rim also has mold and the dryer doesn't dry the clothes even after a long time. One of the two dryers was broken. We had to take our clothes outside the Inn to dry. We're surprised that this kind of hotel exists in Taipei.
