"We had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo Malaga. Despite having an issue with a pipe leaking into our room during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and proactive in getting this sorted. They kindly upgraded us to a different room as compensation. Their friendliness, kindness and help was outstanding with a particular mention for Nacho who was just the best. "From booking, check in and departure everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and hotel spotlessly clean. We had breakfast and the selection suited us well. There was fruit, yogurt and cereals and plenty of hot food. My only complaint is that , in a country with loads of oranges, why did we have a poor quality orange drink!
The hotel is right next to Malaga Centro station and we arrived there by train from Benalmadena (approx 3€ each). The journey took about 30 mins. We used this train station a few days later to travel to Malaga airport.. 10 mins.
The location was quiet but only took 10 mins to walk to the main areas in Malaga."
