"Amazing hotel is a great spot. We loved out time at Algila' Ortigia Charme Hotel. Little tough to drive to, but well worth it!
Included breakfast was one of the best that we had. Our room was also huge and super nice."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel, good amenities as described. Clean, spacious room with a tremendous ocean view! Very safe and centrally located. A/C worked well, room was nice and cool. The bed was very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ortigia."
"Rooms were clean. Staff were so helpful in making reservations and accommodating preference. Amazing views. Great location. Staff made lovely comments and were friendly and hospitable."
"Really lovely, well maintained resort, with attractive grounds. There are 2 large pools which are very clean and offer shallow children's section alongside a deeper section. One of the pools is quieter and the other has loud music, we enjoyed using both of them.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Being mainly English speakers, we didn't find it difficult to communicate with the staff at all.
We went to the beach a couple of times, it is 600m away but the hotel has transport to take people which runs most of the day.
We went to the evening shows most night but they are mostly in Italian so we struggled a bit, however, our 4 year old daughter still enjoyed dancing along and watching parts of it.
The best part is the food! We had delicious pastas, pizza, fish, vegetables, fruit... the food is varied and fresh. Also delicious deserts. The food quality is really good. The drinks need to be improved - they are served mostly in small plastic cups which isn't ideal.
To note - we were all inclusive and paid more for a Superior room which was definitely worth it as you get access to a more premium restaurant and you get reserved beach chairs, beach towels, etc.
Overall it beat my expectations and we'd go again."
"It’s a really beautiful hotel. Great staff, great food, AC works, beautiful spa. It’s in central place but not in the midst of all the chaos at the same time!"
"Very nice hotel outside of busy area but easy to access downtown Ortigia and Siracusa
Unfortunately was only there for one night but pool looked wonderful and historic ambiance in hotel was interesting to see.
Parking was free and breakfast was wonderful with so many options! Will definitely revisit when I’m the area again!"
"The rooms are really nice, smaller than pictures, but nice. View was ok, small porthole in a Concrete wall. Pool was great, breakfast was amazing. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had a car so it was 7 minute drive to parking outside Ortigia every evening plus we did day trips to Noto, Catania, Marzemeni, Brucoli. Parking was easy and convenient. Great value for the price. I would stay again. We rented a self captained boat as well, coast is beautiful, and we ate every night in Ortigia. We split our time between Syracusa-Ortigia and Taormina."
