"The staff were really friendly. The breakfast overseer Courtney was outstanding. We did not use the AC. Heating system was ok but quite noisey. Clean room was ok."
Collegian Hotel & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
6/10 Okay
"The location of the property and the staff were great. They were very accommodating and polite. No issues there at all. The building itself though is lacking.
It's obviously older, which is fine, but it has not been updated as it should. The biggest issue was the HVAC system that can either be set on AC or Heat for the entire building--it's not individualized per room. When we stayed, it was the first mild day in March, so the "heat" setting was still on even though outside was warm. So, the AC would only blow warm air until the cold season ends and they turn it over to AC. Per the recommendation of the staff, we turned off the system entirely, and the room remained at 73 clammy degrees all night, despite someone from the hotel bringing a fan for us to use. To say the least, it was a very uncomfortable night and we had small children and an infant with us. Also, you can't open any of the windows. This should be updated (fresh air please!). There are things you can do to prevent accidents (other hotels are doing it), but in 2026, you should be able to open hotel windows. It's not a prison, but it sure can feel like one for guests who are claustrophobic.
Also, the room wasn't that clean. One of the glasses for water had some kind of dark, thick liquid that hadn't been properly washed off. The hanger rod in the closet was broken. And the bathrooms definitely need to be updated and cleaned better (please ensure there are no remaining hairs in the shower from previous guests). "
"Arrived very late & was able to check-in expediently. Staff was there to greet me. The facility is spotlessly clean. Observed staff continually cleaning floors and vestibule. Everything looked & smelled clean and fresh."
