The hotel has been recently renovated, - completely, - and it shows. Everything has been done with the highest quality in mind, to suit the first class location right next to the central square of this beautiful town. The quality of the staff and the service seems to have been renovated too, and is excellent. We had a memorable stay. I will certainly return.

When you walk into the courtyard at the Palazzo you know you are somewhere special. Arianna is very welcoming and speaks very good English. The La Vista room we chose was simply amazing. Six big windows letting the light stream in and giving us fantastic views out over the Lake. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished and was spotlessly clean. A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. The bed was very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and the Ill Poggerio restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. Fantastic facilities in pristine village! The staff were very helpful and attentive, with every of detail of our stay well planned.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and explained everything well at check in before showing us to our room. Room was one of their small ones so it was cosy, provided toiletries and coffee were good. We didn’t use the hotel amenities as preferred to be out and about so couldn’t comment further.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

Stayed as part as of a road trip.charming swiss hotel with all the trimmings..Gaby was an ecxellent host...you need to brink coins for the car park ...nice views peacefull and nicely located for walkers/ hikers..if you like your hotels big and modern this isntfor you its full of character ...the clue is in the name...

What a fabulous hotel. Beautifully designed with great attention to design detail. Superb location, very comfortable rooms. We unfortunately didn’t have time to use the spa but it looked lovely. One minor point was that the bath towels were a bit on the small side, which was slightly at odds with the general opulence of the hotel. The staff were charming, capable and friendly.

Everything worked well from the ease of checking in to the upgraded room overlooking the lake to the excellent, responsive staff. The visit was a delight from start to finish. Of particular note were the arrangements for breakfast and the extreme helpfulness and resourcefulness of the members of the concierge team. Can't speak highly enough of them.

We were blown away by the property. We simply didn't expect it to be so nice. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The walk into town is a bit long, but the weather was nice and we didn't mind. The only thing we were underwhelmed with was that when we asked to use the outside jacuzzi, a member of staff went to open it, checked the water temperature, told us that was going to be "not very hot" but didn't hear the water so we used it with lukewarm water, which isn't great.
