Best Western Premier Doncaster Mount Pleasant Hotel

"Lovely stay for Yorkshire Wild Live. Room exceeded expectations, itโs was massive with a large sofa, four poster bed and a large bathroom with shower and jetted bath. Everything in the whole hotel was spotless. The food was excellent each night and the staff were great. Canโt fault it at all. Would definitely stay again"

"Just a one night stop over .. Room clean Staff friendly and helpful, Lady who covered the breakfast was AMAZING, she worked so hard to meet everyone's needs. On a negative..the bacon , felt like it had been cooked a while, so had become dry and very hard to eat ... We throughly enjoyed our evening meal ...everything was DELICIOUS"

"Our room was in a separate building to the pub which was quiet and well kept. The pace had everything you would need for a comfortable night stay. The only thing that I would say was a slight negative was a damp smell in the bathroom. We reserved a table for dinner, they were very busy and advised there was a wait for food but was served earlier than advised was reasonably priced and was of good quality. The only negative thing I can say about the dining experience is they do not serve Guinness! Car park is small but plenty of street parking available and we did not have any issues. In summary this was an extremely well priced comfortable stay with great staff and great food. I would recommend."

"We visit Doncaster every year for the races in August and wouldnโt consider any other hotel. The Hilton Garden Inn is fantastic. Brilliant location and amazing views of the course (racecourse view room). Brilliant bar and restaurant. Service second to none. Shout out to Debs on reception who was amazing and the maintenance guy who helped us a couple of times on Saturday (sorry didnโt get his name). Had breakfast both days - amazing choice and good quality food. Ate in restaurant Saturday night. Beautiful. Lovely outdoor bar area too"

"Rooms fine but dated, had to ask to get breakfast pots refilled, not big enough for everyone so you had to wait a bit for breakfast, would probably stay again it's right in the centre of town ๐"
The Parsonage Hotel & Spa

"The hotel is an attractive old vicarage with a lovely frontage. The coach house is a modern add on which is pleasant and fit for purpose building but dont expect any views. The location is handy for York with a regular bus service outside on the main road however we used Uber taxis which are always nearby and cost not much more than the bus. The hotel has an onsite pub called The Fat Abbot and Spa. The Spa is fantastic and probably the best in the area with Gym, Pool, 4 heat rooms and Jacuzzi. Food in the Fat Abbot is good. My only real criticism is we arrived at the pub for a beer about 10.15 pm and the staff were clearly disappointed to see us. It was evident they all wanted to finish and go home despite the pub stating it was open until 11 pm. I even asked them and they said that they had been there since 8am and wanted to finish. The bar lights were turned off, we downed our drinks quickly and we left. None the less the bar staff were pleasant but we did feel a tad uncomfortable."
