The Knoll House

"The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. There are several comfortable seating areas of various sizes and styles. The restaurant is very large and the food and service is very good. The breakfasts are particularly enjoyable with a plentiful range for self-service. The outdoor swimming pool was heated, despite it being October when we stayed there. There is also a small indoor pool in the pleasant modern leisure complex. Dinner was a minimum of £34 per person plus a 10% gratuity. The wine and other drinks were expensive and also incurred the 10% charge. The staff were pleasant and helpful."

"My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at Taunton House. The hosts Michele & Bill were very friendly & made us feel welcome. The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable.
