"I found a bug crawling in my bed. Reported to the front desk right away. They couldn’t change the room for me. I have asked to at least change all my bedsheets & duvet. They only gave me the bedsheet & asked me to do it myself. "

"The best thing about this hotel was it's location. It's closeness to Ueno Station, being very convenient. No breakfast option was a downside, but we solved that by walking to Starbucks at the station, for a morning coffee. Unlike, cafes in NZ and Australia, many don't open til later in the morning. "

If &Here was my company, I would promote her to a managerial or executive position. She would excel. The Onsen is clean and lovely, and a highlight of the hotel. Great to have a cafe at the hotel too. The hotel location in Ueno is superb. "

"The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. We thought it was great value for the busy season we were in Tokyo. There wasn’t much to fault, only one minor things which may have made the stay even better- another option for pillow (although this may have been available, and I just didn’t ask)."

"Central location, across from train station yet the noise was minimal, great for families - full kitchen, washer/dryer. Room was clean, check in was efficient, price is higher than other rooms, however, exceeded our families needs (3 adults, 1 teen, 1 child)."
