"A great location a street back from the beach. The hotel was clean and there was an excellent choice for the continental breakfast. The room was comfy and had a hairdryer, complementary toothbrush/paste, shower cap, ear plugs etc. We stayed with our 2 children who loved the large sized bunk beds. The host was very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. A lovely stay in a good location. Would recommend!"

"I had a really good stay at the Southwold. The owners were helpful and friendly and the B&B was clean and tidy. The breakfasts in the morning were also large and tasty. I had the single room right up on the top floor, which was up a normal flight of stairs, then a second steeper set which I didn't mind but others may have trouble with. "The electric fire in my caravan did not work. The carpets although clean on the surface could do with a deep clean to revive the pile. I reported this to reception. Overhead low flying aircraft every day were very noisy, I know this can't be helped with an RAF base right next door. Otherwise my stay was fine."
