"The main reason I stayed here is I saw they have full size fridges with freezers in the room. I bring my own food when traveling and the lack of a separate freezer unit in most hotels is limiting. The price was also great for just an overnight or as a basecamp for doing some hiking. I liked the layout/furniture of the rooms as well. Instead of a big table or chest taking up room, there are large open shelves under the TV to keep your things off the floor. Be aware, if you are clumsy like me, there are large cubby holes underneath the beds as well which can be easy to forget and kick your foot into. Overall, very quiet and would stay again. I don’t ever see any Red Roof Inns anywhere with the higher ratings this one had. Normally I wouldn’t stay at one, but the rating was true."

"We had such a great stay at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Lancaster while we were in town for a cheer competition. We booked knowing there was construction going on, but it honestly didn’t impact our stay at all. Our room was at the end of the hallway and the rest of the hall was blocked off for construction, but there was no noise, no smells, and no disruption whatsoever. The room itself was immaculate. I’m very picky when it comes to cleanliness, and it was spotless—no dust, no issues, and extremely comfortable. The staff was also fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they even allowed us to check in early before the official 4 PM check-in time, which we really appreciated after traveling. Breakfast isn’t included, but the $15 was absolutely worth it. There were plenty of options, and the chef was incredibly kind about coming out to answer our questions about food allergies and ingredients. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and we would absolutely stay here again. If you’re coming to Lancaster for a cheer competition or event, this is a great place to stay. Thank you to the staff and management for making our stay so enjoyable—we really appreciated it! "

"Very rude owners and family staffed all rude screamed in my face because I want able to leave at 11 am was 1105 am that I was done cleaning room and gathering belongings to leave .. the desk is judgemental I reserved room with deposit I went to rent room they said no rooms even tho I put a deposit on line that guaranteed me to obtain room ..no refund nothing .will never give my money to anyone who thinks Americans are disgusting . Again "
