"We loved our overnight stay at The Chanticleer. We had book the reservation for the wrong day and the owner(?) was very accommodating in helping us resolve 5he issue. The Inn itself was such a quaint peaceful throwback - reminding us of childhood trips long ago. Beautiful lake views from our room and a spot on dinner recommendation rounded out a perfect evening stop on our way to UP for a little getaway. Highly recommend The Chanticleer for families couples or anyone just wanting to unwind and commune…."
"Clean and comfortable bed. A few towels were frayed and to the point of needing to be turned into rags. There is a high possibility that the pool hasn't been open for a few years. Breakfast was just "ok". Last year it was much better. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I'll stay here again in hopes that things were just "off"."
"The hostess was very friendly as soon as I walked through the door. The room was very clean. Plenty of hot water for a shower and the room was super quiet. The breakfast in thw morning was also very good and well stocked. The only very tiny complaint I would have is there's no USB plugs for charging electronics. There's outlets which I used but I didn't know my power adapter was bad so my phone was charging very slow and was only at 62% when I woke up. Like I said is a very tiny complaint."
