"Excellent comfy and friendly hotel. Service excellent. The hotel itself is a little tired. It is closing a the end of the season for two years major refurbishment. I do hope they don’t alter the ambience or try to cater for the.masses. The people who stay there as it islquiet, a bit old fashioned and serves an excellent fresh local food. Thank goodness it’s not like a gastro pub with rooms! The views are magnificent even in the rain. Lovely walks and a few mountains to climb."

"Me and my friend stayed for the NC500. A really fantastic family run hotel with great food and great selection of drinks in the bar. A really quiet and relaxing environment both in the room, dining room and bar. The dining room opens up onto a really good view of a lake and mountains. The bar has a really good condition pool table as well. Would definitely stay again."

"What can we say, other than what a great little place. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the service would amazing. We were welcomed warmly and even waved off! Dawn, was a great host. The room was in great condition, super comfy bed, and lovely shower/bathroom. Only a 5 minute wonder into town, yet far enough away that its peaceful and quiet. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Caledonian Hotel in Ullapool. It was a perfect base for a week walking the hills of Assynt and Coigach. Room was comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was really good - no lack of choice. Eating in the Caley Restaurant was a great way to recover each evening - a good choice on the menu, perect portions and very well-priced "
