"The front desk and lobby staff were very friendly, professional and helpful although Mandarin is not my first language. They were always on hand to provide assistance readily and answer my inquiries. The rooms were also very well-cleaned and the cleaning staff also greet guests with a cheerful disposition. The only downside perhaps was I felt the indoor bath temperature was a bit too hot for me."

The hotel not only looked after my bags for the day, but provided a facility to shower and change my clothes in the evening before I left for my flight. Top marks for that, Royal - Nikko Taipei. The breakfasts were excellent, the room cleaning superb, The hotel is close to an MRT station. The staff at all times were friendly and helpful."

"This is a Japanese style hotel in Taipei. We stayed here for one night before heading to Japan Kyoto. So from hotel experience standpoint, we had a head start. Though there is a shower and tub, it is Japanese style bathroom. Very Clean but different from those in the states. Bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly. Didn’t stay here for their breakfast since there are so many great food we want to eat in Taipei for our one day layover."
