Top Stykkisholmur Hotel Reviews
Guesthouse Hof
"The location is good and can see north light."
Miðhraun - Lava Resort
"Small and cozy room upstairs in a guesthouse. Shared bathroom was nice but busy when all other guests are using it. A bit noisy too when other guests arrive. Kitchen has everything you need. Free use of geothermal bath and sauna for guests was a great surprise. Restaurant had a breakfast buffet but a bit expensive for the variety. Plenty of parking. Beautiful surroundings although next to a freeway (about half a mile) with nothing in vicinity but a single gas station."
Hótel Fransiskus Stykkishólmi
"Great location, just steps away from the harbour. Very nice breakfast. Friendly staff."
Hotel Langaholt
"We enjoyed the location and were grateful to be in one of the newer rooms with a balcony. Not a lot of space in the room for placements of bags but we made it work. In reading about the guesthouse when booking, it appeared there was a restaurant for ordering dinner; however, that is not the situation. The food was ok but not what we expected and quite expensive. The breakfast buffet was good and offered many options."
The Stykkishólmur Inn
"This was a very small but adorable room in the inn. The mural was such a nice addition. There was limited space for the two of us and I'm not sure if I would have wanted to stay for the whole week in a room of this size with limited amenities like an in-room fridge or tv, but it worked well for the night. We did store some items in a small fridge that seemed communal in the hall and there was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the shared dining space. In the morning there was an incredible breakfast spread available that was my favorite breakfast of the trip by far. The check-in and out process was very easy and there was easy street parking if the spots are taken by the inn."
Sjávarborg
"This place is totally ace. Superb retro decor, friendly owner and staff, great communal areas, brilliant kitchen, delicious breakfast, beautiful and central location, easy parking and access, very clean and really comfortable. Love it love it love it."
Stykkisholmur Inn
"We walked to dinner from the hotel. Cute little town."
Stundarfriður Cottages
"The owner is amazing! Great spot to feel away and relax."
