Good location but not very comfortable.
The hotel has a great location and multi-lingual staff, which is great. The breakfast offering was simple and not very good. The sheets were very stiff and scratchy. It was hot and the a/c either didn’t work properly or was turned off at night. If you leave the windows open there are lots of mosquitos. The town is cute and the botanical garden and park were lovely. If you are on a budget and want to visit this town you might be ok here.

Newer book hotel Meeting Stresa!
Newer book hotel Meeting! I had a reservation but no room available. I had to go to some other building, the room was noisy (train), dirty and there were not a bed, just a soffa to sleep. No windows either. Horrible experience, the man in reception said this is the way how they manage. You book a room with balkony and hill wiew but they decide where to put you to sleep, no matter what a customer waits or what is promised.

Great location, 10/5 min walk to train station/pier. Good restaurant on site, 13.5 euro 3-course set-menu dinner. Great breakfast. Helpful and polite staff, both in reception and restaurant. Thin wall, can hear talking and tv sound from next door. However staff promptly resolve the issueen the neighbour still turn on the tv after 0030 hours on one night.

Great Value - Better than We Expected for a 3 Star
We were very pleasantly surprised by Hotel Meeting. My wife and I attended a meeting in Stresa, Italy. Hotel Meeting was located very near the convention center. They have rooms in the main building, but they have also bought and renovated other small buildings around the block. We were in one of the side buildings. The exterior is old with character, but the insides have been fully renovated in the last few years. The room was small, but very functional. There was a small kitchenette with a sink, kettle, small fridge, and a range (no microwave). The bathroom had a large standing shower. Good water pressure and hot water. The room was a little cool, and the thermostat was not fully responsive. It was tolerable. If it were colder, this might have been a problem. There was wonderful breakfast included each morning. The hotel was only listed as a 3-star hotel, but it seemed better than some 4-star and 5-star hotels in which some colleagues stayed. There was very good WiFi both in the main building and in the separate building in which we stayed.

The hotel is centrally located very close to the beautiful lake. We stayed in an apartment even though we had reserved a double room. The hotel was very clean.

Great location
The location was perfect, close to the center of the town and to the boats. Breakfast was great. But there are differences between rooms. My parents stayed in a room that was very nice, but me and my boyfriend stayed in a different room. It was a lot smaller and bathroom was not in a very good condition. Toilet seat was probably 20 years old, because I never saw one that would be in such a bad condition. And we payed the same amount of money for both rooms. Beds were also very soft.

Great Apartment in Stresa!
Hotel Meeting in Stresa also has some very nice apartments that have recently been renovated and are right in town just a block from the hotel. All tile, bed/bath/liv rooms with studio kitchen and you're a 3min walk to the main shopping & eating district of Stresa! Staff was courteous and helpful...we really enjoyed our stay in this great little town!

Practical and convenient
An affordable, clean and convenient hotel in a beautiful town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The train as well as a Milan airport shuttle makes the hotel easily accessible without a car.

A wonderful stay
This was an absolute wonderful stay in a hotel with pristinely clean and well-appointed rooms, a friendly and more than helpful staff, a delicious buffet breakfast and lovely dinner at a ridiculously low price. We were surprised at whwt we got for a reasonably low price. This wonderfully warm and welcome stay will remain with us as long as we travel!!!!

A short stay in Stresa
We had problems with our train and so arrived later than planned (around 11pm). We called and they assured us that the reception was open all night and we found it was no problem for them. We checked in easily, had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good and then we continued on our journey, refreshed!

Very nice hotel. Clean, calm, nice beds, good shower and good breakfast. Parking was easy right in front of the hotel. But this is December.

The hotel is located in the center of Stresa villa
The hotel is located about 0.5 hour from milano airport. It can be a good starting point to trip in the lae area. We were 24 hour in the quit and beautiful village. The breakfest is basic. There is a good super 5 minutes from the hotel. there is no formal parking to the hotel, so the clark help me find a parking.

This hotel has a very friendly staff and is in a very convenient location. All the rooms appeared to have spacious balconies. The rooms have air conditoning, but the air conditioning isn't really up to American standards. The A/C cooled the room somewhat, but the room never really got cold. This hotel also has somewhat thin walls, so you will occasionally hear your neighbors. Neither minus was really much of a problem.

Nous sommes une famille avec deux enfants de 7 et 10 ans. Nous passons par hôtels.com pour réserver pour nous 4 et le site nous propose une chambre mais sans y faire attention c est une chambre triple proposée pour 4 personnes. Merci le paramétrage du site hôtels.com... Arrivé à l hôtel, il refuse de nous donner notre chambre car nous sommes 4 et nous devons en réserver une autre. Nous appelons la hotline hôtels.com qui est incapable de nous aider apres plus d une heure de communication a ma charge a l etranger. Nous acceptons la chambre complémentaire car il est 21h et plus rien de disponible aux alentours. A notre retour, refus d hôtels de payer la chambre supplémentaire. Alors évitez ce site et cet hotel

Bra hotell i närheten av Centralstationen och inte långt till torget & affärer, restauranger. Bra sängar, nästan som tempurmadrasser + nyrenoverat badrum hade vi på båda våra dubbelrum. Helt O.K frukost + trevlig personal. Enda minuset är balkongen ut emot ett bostadsområde men hotellet är att rekommendera ändå.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel con la mia famiglia composta da moglie e i miei due figli di 19 e 17 anni per 5 notti la prima settimana di settembre 2015. All'arrivo mi aspettavo un'altra reception in quanto le foto pubblicate indicano un'altro ingresso ma tutto sommato siamo stati accolti gentilmente e sistemati in un appartamento a pochi metri dall'hotel. L'appartamento si trovava al terzo piano e si accedeva tramite scale od ascensore, ben pulito con due Tv ma con un solo telecomando, una bel bagno spazioso ma non tutto perfetto: Mancavano gli appendini per gli asciugamani, sotto la finestra l'intonaco era umido e sporco (sarebbe stato meglio rivestirlo con marmo). La colazione discreta, ben fornita ma le brioches erano contate in quanto non erano presenti nel self ma portate al tavolino dalla cameriera insieme al cappuccino (una a testa). Abbiamo cenato in tre una sera soltanto nel ristorante dell'albergo con due menu completi per io e mia moglie e solo un secondo per mio figlio ma ci hanno fatto pagare sempre tre menù completi. la La qualità del cibo non è eccezionale ma visto il prezzo (Euro 13,50) d'altronde con una qualità così bassa pagare di più sarebbe un furto.

Nous avons été très très bien reçu et avons eu droit à un appartement à la place d'une chambre. Nous avons pris le diner en arrivant repas parfait pour 13.50 € . le petit déjeuner est très copieux et servit par une jeune dame très sympathique. je conseil vivement cet hôtel

J'ai pris cette chambre avec une offre de parking gratuit, l'hôtelier n'a pas respecter son engagement malgré le détail écrit sur mon récépissé. De plus, les chambres sont petites, sales et la climatisation fonctionne très mal. Dommage car l'emplacement et le petit déjeuner était par contre à la hauteur de nos attentes.

Ottima posizione per raggiungere il lago e il centro città (anche se non in zona panoramica). Personale gentile. Camera e bagno puliti con arredi, pavimenti ed accessori molto curati e graziosi. Abbiamo gustato una ottima colazione, molto abbondante. La cena ancora più ottima: molta scelta, pasti abbondanti e gustosi ad un prezzo veramente irrisorio. L'unica piccola difficoltà è trovare parcheggio.

Eravamo in giro con la famiglia, arrivati a Stresa, durante un pranzo in riva al lago, mi sono affidato a expedia per trovare un hotel per passare la notte, trovati un paio che mi potevano andar bene come prezzo per non spendere una cifra, ho controllato le recensioni su tripadvisor, così siamo finiti al meeting, personale al top, gentilissimi ed educatissimi, tutto perfetto, se devo trovare una pecca, sono i letti e cuscini, abbiamo cenato in hotel ad un prezzo eccezzionale, cena ottima, cucinato tutto in modo perfetto. un pò troppo duri. nel complesso se dovessi tornarci andremmo ancora a pernottare qui.
