Perfectly appointed hotel in a central, but quiet, location. I was very happy with the high quality of the building, our room, and its amenities. The hotel team is also exceptional - thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of town and about 15 minutes from Petite France....perfect location! A beautiful, historic building mixes with modern comfort inside with silent air conditioning, comfortable beds and spotless bathroom. The complimentary dressing gowns and slippers were a bonus, especially as we had only booked the basic room. All the staff were superb, a 24 hour reception team, speaking excellent English. A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.

Functional but very comfortable hotel just outside Strasbourg city centre - easy to reach the centre by tram (10 mins) or 25 minute walk. Worked perfectly for our last night in Alsace

Perfect location, perfect room. This was a really wonderful stay, right in the heart of the most beautiful part of Strasbourg. Staff were really helpful and the room and welcome was extraordinary. The best!

Friendly, welcoming staff. The room was clean and fresh. My room looked out onto the main road but, with the windows closed, i couldn't hear much from outside. There is air conditioning available but I did not use it as it was autumn weather. Very conveniently situated, being close to the station and the old parts of the city

Impossible to beat the location just a few metres from the amazing Notre Dame Cathedral and surrounding cafes etc. Comfortable room and bed but noisy air conditioning. Overall a great place to stay.

First, the location is excellent. The garden walkway into the hotel was very nice and puts you in a really good mood. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean and very nice. It was a very welcoming room that you enjoyed being in. We will stay here from now on.
