Upgraded to a family room with seaviews. Great. Very friendly pleasant staff. Great breakfast and evening meal choices excellent. Great value for money.

Harbour View room, top floor, has decent views of the beach and small harbour. Bathroom door handle needed a neater repair, room lock was a bit tricky and temporary heater had a broken foot. Super staff and breakfast was fine. Dining room view of the harbour great.

We enjoyed a great couple of days at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they were so accommodating to our little dog. Being making a return stay again soon!

Surprise 60th Birthday Celebration
Lovely apartments, which catered very well for a surprise Family gathering, celebrating a 60th Birthday. Dinner and Breakfast Menus offered good selection at reasonable prices, in addition to catering for gluten free. Overall, very good value for money; we shall return.

The room was tiny with sloped ceiling above bed. Had to bend our head to get in and out of bed. Bed extremely soft and uncomfortable. Very strange wardrobe! Radiator in bathroom dangerously hot! Lovely view from window. Staff pleasant.

Really enjoyed stay. Great situation. Friendly staff. Lovely room. Great value for money. Only gripe was that I was unable to get through to staff on the phone easily but I appreciate it was off season and mid week. Would definitely recommend and return with no hesitation.

Good stop over.
Once again we enjoyed our stay at the Harbour House, however, disappointed that there were no real ales on tap and the price of food has risen for pretty average pub grub

We stayed one night on a half board basis - an absolute bargain for what we paid, the breakfast in particular was excellent. Maybe not the most ideal hotel for anyone with mobility issues though with no lift but that’s understandable in an old building. We were in room 5 which had the most perfect sea view, we wish we’d booked for longer as we love Portpatrick and will definitely be back soon

Great autumn break
We had a good stay at the Harbour House Hotel, we were in one of the apartments which was very spacious and had access to an enclosed garden at the back of the apartments which was good for the dog to run about in. The bed was comfortable, the shower room was clean, the kitchen area had everything that was required. The breakfast each morning was delicious and everything was cooked to order, the staff were very friendly and helpful

A Definite for the future
This was an exceptional hotel and the service and breakfast was absolutely amazing. Location was a gem too.

Great view
We stayed in room 7. Loads of free parking very close to the hotel. Room was on the 2nd floor with a sea view. The room was really quirky and charming, although there were lots of low ceilings and I constantly banged my head. The food was basic pub grub and the beers generic run of the mill fayre. Staff were all really friendly and lovely. But the view from the room ... my God, what a view and worth every penny 😍

The Hotel was great we had a lovely bedroom with a great view over the harbour. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Staff were pleasant and attentive.

We had a lovely room overlooking the harbour. The staff were great, they were really polite and helpful, with lots of smiles. We had an excellent deal which included bed breakfast and evening meal. The food was good, but the breakfast sausages were tough. This is a lovely place to stay. Portpatrick is a delight. The best beer was at the Crown, no real ale at the Harbour!
