"We had a wonderful stay at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park. The lodge has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and our room was clean and comfortable. A couple of areas could be improved: (1) better sound insulation between rooms, as we could hear noise from neighboring guests (TVs, conversations, etc.), and (2) quicker service in the restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"

"I was worried about the cracking concrete/steel stairs up to the second floor in the building we had our room. But the room itself was fine. The staff who I saw later in the morning in the hallway was very courteous."

"All of the staff was friendly and helpful, holding open doors as we brought our things in and out and just in general very pleasant. Breakfast food was always full and warm. We tried the Thai restaurant in the evening and this was excellent. If ever back in the area would stay here again!"
