"I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel. Basic facilities but clean and well organised. We were in house 2, which was round the corner from the main reception building. We found it quiet and clean in the rooms. There was no kettle/drinks facilities which was mildly frustrating after a long day and first thing in the morning as we had to wait to go back into the first building to get a drink with breakfast. Breakfast was a buffet, not quite as extensive as some hotels, but good and the staff were working hard to keep tables clean and everything restocked. As a budget option, this had everything we needed for a one night city centre stay."

"Great location just a short walk from the station and close to tram line. Staff friendly and very helpful. Our two rooms were luxurious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom had both a bathroom and separate walk in shower. Great shampoos and soaps and a nice tea tray. Would definitely stay again."

"Very pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the hotel. Very clean, the pool was quiet, everything was working, the jacuzzi nice and "strong", the steam room nice and hot with a eucalyptus scent. The changing room was very tidy and clean. We will be back"

"Really lovely hotel just by Harvey Nics. Great room although a little small but I was alone so fabulous for me. I’m marking down 1 point only because you can’t use the stairs… the lifts are a busy so I thought I’d just walk… it seems it’s prohibited unless you ask for assistance. I’m sure it will be ok but it just triggered a fire issue? Also they didn’t mention the tax. Again no problem for me as I was aware that I would be paying a daily fee but when I asked before leaving if anything would be taken from my £50 holding card I was advised “no”. All in all though a really great hotel"

"A couple of the sockets didn't work in the room. Razor socket in Bathroom and 1 in the bedroom. Breakfast really nice and service great. Bar also very good. Excellent location and good value for money."

"Ideal for a stay before an early flight. Room clean and bed comfortable. Very quiet with little internal or external noise. Would benefit from bigger reception / bar area as it was very crowded. Unfortunate to have to queue at a busy bar just for a bottle of water for the room."
