"Our stay was excellent overall. The front desk and breakfast staff were amazing. We stayed in April so the pool wasn't open for our stay so I can't give any info about it. The building and grounds are very well maintained and clean, for the most part. The elevator was pretty dirty. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The ac/heating, tv, and shower worked well. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options. There is a yogurt bar with a yogurt dispenser with granola and other toppings. Bagels, toast and fruit. There are hot options like potatoes, sausage and eggs. They have a juice dispenser and a coffee machine with regular and decaf options for lattes and cappuccino. If not for an incident I had with housekeeping I would have given this hotel an excellent rating. Upon boarding the elevator, I saw a used condom on the floor of the elevator. Housekeeping were just outside the elevator so I asked them if they could help. I told them that there was a used condom on the elevator floor. She said no, spoke to the other housekeeper in a different language and they both started laughing and walked away. I went to the front desk and told them about the condom and they promptly took care of it."

"Restaurant was dysfunctional, front desk staff was great. Maids were loud and disrupted sleep."

"The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. There was bad weather in the area, the young man at the desk made sure we knew this and what to do and where to go just in case. This place has an awesome breakfast! Alway nice and clean. "

"We liked everything about your hotel. Pretty special, to be down town, so close to everything. My only complaint, would be getting my luggage from the parking garage to the East Tower. Three elevators, and a Sky Bridge. I should have used Valet parking."

"Great stay in KC. I prefer a room on a higher floor but was convenient to be on the 1st floor. Close to shopping and dining. We did not eat at the restaurant but had drinks during our stay and great service there as well."

"The chef is rude , doesn’t know the law when it comes to service dogs and needs a different job. Good chicken and waffles doesn’t make up for bad unprofessional behavior. She went out of her way to be a abrasive and needs fired ."
