Great mountain town. The old town is easy to walk with parks and the Yampa River running just one block off the main drag. Plenty of breweries, restaurants, and shops to keep you occupied. Strawberry Hot Springs just outside of town is a must visit!

We got the private shuttle to Strawberry Hot Springs, picked up right out front, this is something to add to any trip - just go when it's cold out or ideally snowing. And always tip the drivers!

Steamboat is a larger destination type town obviously built around the skiing industry. Very charming and friendly and the downtown area was very walkable. Dinner at 8th street steak house was amazing, first time ever cooking our own steaks out!

The area is becoming a small aspen. It's getting over priced and busy. But it's safe and there's options for the entire family. We spent the 4th of July there and this town puts a lot of effort into that time. There's tons of activities.
