"My room was DIRTY !!! From the STAINED Bed sheets and the Cover, Too the Filthy Floor. I Had White Socks on ..I stayed for 4 nights and the bottom of the Socks were BLACK !!! I Left them there so they would get the HINT !!! No House Keeping the entire Stay.. I had to request more Towels that were OLD AND WORN OUT!!! I'M New to the area and if I go back to that area...I WILL NOT STAYING THERE!!!"

"The best thing about Hotel Eleo was its staff. The bed wasn't so bad either. But the worst thing was that horrible Nespresso coffee maker. When first booking the room and seeing the amenities, I ordered my favorite coffee in a Nespresso pod to use. Terrible. Foamy and bitter - no matter which brand of coffee used. But the nearness to Shands was such a plus and the availability of the shuttle service to the hospital 24/7 certainly outweighed the bad coffee. And with the Opus coffee kiosk in the hospital lobby, I was ok. I had breakfast one day and then lunch another day at the restaurant there. Both were great. And William, the bartender/server made me feel as if we were old friends. If a visit to Shands was ever in the future, I would stay at the Eleo again...but I'd pack my little Keurig! "

"This review is to be a warning to other consumers. The pictures of this property as presented on this site, are not a true presentation of this property. They are embellished and not real. This property is a total dump!!! It is an old and very disgusting hotel that has tried to improve its look by renovating the rooms and lobby with cheap materials and cheap remodeling. First of all, the hotel exterior is enough to make you vomit and scared to even go inside. Indoors have such a terrible smell, that you might as well go to a motel or hostel. You won't be able to breath. The so-called "remodeling" was done to cover up the low-quality rooms, but it is absolutely terrible. There are cracks and stains and mold everywhere. The beds are gross with stains too. If all this was not enough to turn you away, beware of the COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM!! I have pictures of all of this and will try to post them here. I stayed in this hotel only because it was half price of the other places, and i still regret it. I might be scarred for a long time, it was so disgusting!! Yuck "

"Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bathroom was exceptionally small, shower behind the door. Room was clean though limited in space. I use a wheelchair as I cannot walk far and it wouldn't fit between the bed and dresser to access the bathroom or opposite side of the bed. "

"The photos are not as the rooms and hotel actually is, the hotel has a smoke and weed smell all over the hallways and the bathroom and rooms are not updated as it shows on the pictures. People on the room above is were fighting late at night, and screaming. Our kids were afraid. Talking to the staff they offered to cleans the room better and they did even the hallway smelled better but again late afternoon, all the smoke and weed smell came back. The actual hotel has a sign saying that they are smoke free."
