We always have an amazing stay at the Marriot Gateshead. Everything is so close to where we need to be. Staff are amazing and the grandchildren love swimming in the pool every day. Would highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking to stay

Lumley Castle Hotel
Beautiful hotel with an amazing old world feel. Our room was decorated/furnished in keeping with the castle and was very clean and comfotable. Langley Castle Hotel
Breakfast felt rushed (all items brought to the table at the same time). Staff were pleasant. Furniture and decor in the room looking a little tired. Beautiful surrounding area. Castle and grounds are lovely, quiet and relaxing.

Durham City Cottages
Parking excellent,room adequate,host very welcoming.Toilet seat didn’t fit toilet & kept sliding around.Very awkward & uncomfortable.
