The rooms are immaculate- clean, charming decor, lovely breakfast options in the morning, and you may be greeted on the property by his gorgeous and friendly yellow lab! "We were shocked at the prices for hotels in Portland (in my opinion a way, overrated town) so we stayed here primarily because of price. But it's a nice gem worth considering. Room was comfortable. Breakfast nice. Host welcoming. And walking distance to the Freeport outlets and across from that now-famous McDonald's located in a historic house. Definitely eat at the Jameson Tavern (walking). One of the best burgers we've had, great fries too. (If you are tired of lobster and high prices)."
