"The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. "The hotel is in a nice location with parking, has a nice garden with seating and a heated pool. The staff at reception were friendly at check in and check out. The room was a good size with a double and single bed and bathroom was good. Room also had a good sized tv with tea and coffee. Only fault is that the walls seemed quite thin so could hear quite clearly talking in the corridor and shutting doors, and there was a stain on the floor. But apart from that the hotel was great value for money! "

Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."
