"Breakfast staff where great very helpful but I wasnt impressed with the staff in restaurant when we booked and had an evening meal, kept us waiting when we booked a table and then didn't get a particular good table, when others did just walking in. The entaintainment was great (Saturday evening) head waiter very grumpy. The food was excellent. The maid service was excellent too."

"Hotel, staff and breakfast were generally ok. However the low rating is due to the fact that I was kept awake all night due to the noise. This hotel has no soundproofing and I could hear person next door snoring all night, it was as if they were in my room! On top of this there was noise coming from the floor above as what seemed like staff talking, walking up and down and moving furniture about; this was at 1am!! I complained to the morning staff but they pleaded ignorance. So to summarise (and only based on one night/room), go ahead and stay hear as long as to are either a deep sleeper or don't mind staying awake all night."

"Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it. Overall a fabulous stay, enhanced by the presence of all the old Rolls Royces and their owners who were there for the Jersey car festival."

"My 4 night stay was excellent, I chose a double with a sea view which was definitely worth the extra cost. The bedroom was a good size for me but I felt it was maybe a bit small for a couple but otherwise was very good, however the bathroom was rather dated with shower over the bath with curtain and not a lot of water pressure. The dining room and bar areas are very good. Breakfast is served and was excellent with multiple choices on offer. A 5 course evening meal is available, different menu each night and at £28.50 is excellent value. If you have a car there is plenty of parking but if not there are regular buses from just outside the door. (£2.35 per trip).Lastly the staff were very good, always helpful with a welcoming smile. All in all the Ambassadeur offers good value and is an enjoyable place to stay.🙂"

"The amazing views over St Brelade's Bay make this a really special place. There's a large patio and upper patio with comfortable seating where you can eat and drink and relax in this wonderful setting. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Food was delicious. Staff all friendly and helpful. There's a bus stop right outside so easy access into St Helier and Corbiere. I'd love to return."
