"Room was clean, comfortable and service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fabulous, you wanted for nothing, excellent food and ample quantity. All staff were attentive, I can’t fault it."

"Lovely hotel to stay in. Great bus access out front, and plenty parking if you hire a car. Food was excellent, especially the buffet breakfast. Gets a little busy by 9am, but never had an issue. Afternoon tea was superb 👌. Every member of staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed during the May heatwave, unfortunately on the top floor. The hotel does not have air conditioning. Each room has a fan, but we were given an extra one to help with cooling room. We will definitely stay here again. 👍"

"I had a single room with a sea view. It was a large room for a single, and the view of the bay was very good. However, it was a really hot few days and there was no air conditioning in the room and the windows had security features which prevented them from opening more than a few inches. An electric fan was provided that helped, but nonetheless it was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The shower was practically useless with almost no pressure and therefore little more than a dribble of water, when it was desperately needed to cool down my body temperature. Breakfast was OK, but on my final day when I needed to leave for the airport early despite arriving at supposed opening time of 7am the service was NOT READY and I had to wait 10 minutes before I could grab a bowl of cereal and then despite cooked breakfast arriving fairly promptly after delayed order I didn't have enough time left to eat it. Hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly. Checking in & out was efficient."

"We loved our stay at the Merton hotel. Child focused and very friendly. Excellent service and staff. Pool area was great and the breakfast was excellent. Brilliant and varied night entertainment. Good acts on for the adults and the young team who entertained the kids were very talented and really put everything into making sure they had fun."

"I cannot fault anything with the hotel. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and polite. Special mention to Hope at reception who was excellent helping me when I needed help to re-print my boarding pass. The garden area was beautiful, plenty of seating and areas for children to play games, pool areas were very clean. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The only thing that could be improved, there was only entertainment on Friday night (we only stayed Thursday to Sunday)."
