The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

"We stayed at The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort for one night and found it a convenient base for visiting friends and exploring nearby Ironbridge. We did not use the golf course, but we enjoyed the swimming pool, which was a lovely addition to our short stay. Unfortunately, there were no spa treatments available, so I would recommend booking these well in advance if they are an important part of your visit. The EV charging point was a real bonus and made our stay much more convenient. Overall, this was a pleasant and practical choice for a short break, particularly if you are planning to visit Ironbridge or the surrounding area."

"Excellant hotel for the money I would recommend anybody to come here and stay beautiful.Welcome, thank you, Donna.In reception, dietary needs catered for excellent service. No air conditioning, however, provided a fan but not needed. The weekend we stayed cooler weather conditions. The room was spacious, clean. No fault with this hotel would come back again. Thank you."

"My daughter and I stayed here for one night sharing a double room on the first floor. The room was beautifully decorated, and there were apple tea and coffee supplies. We got food from the bar, which was great Valley for money. My daughter had the fish and chips and I had the beetroot burger, which was incredibly tasty. We used the pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna the day of checkout. The gym was a little disappointing that had the basics if you wanted to use it. The staff member in the bar whose name I did not get was very polite and we didnโt have to wait too long for our food. Iโll definitely recommend visiting this hotel."

"This is a very well located, convenient and good value hotel in the heart of Shrewsbury. It is a very old and characterful building - so donโt expect any mod cons or amenities. And in particular donโt take any heavy luggage. However- the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Linens etc all up to scratch. There is no bar onsite but there is a beautiful one next door. The location is superb however for navigating the town."

"Lovely lady receptionist upgraded us to a superior double which was spacious with a large bed and great view of the church opposite, Ben, the duty manager was very efficient with the breakfasts. He got me extra tea as requested and did a lovely takeaway bag of sausage and bacon sandwich so my husband could eat later. Great staff, stylish rustic hotel. A perfect stay!"

"I had a wonderful stay at voco Telford - Ironbridge by IHG. The hotel was welcoming, comfortable, and provided a great overall experience. A special mention has to go to the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious, with a great selection and everything freshly prepared. It was the perfect start to the day! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended."

"A nice location, good quality rooms. Shame that there was no food and no bar. When everything is back to the way it was, it will be a lovely place to stay. I feel it just needs some work to bring it up to standard."
