"The breakfast was fresh everyday. Eggs, meat, potatoes, fresh fruit, waffles, bagels, cereal, oatmeal. Staff were courtesy and the room was clean! "

"Pros: - staff were amazing, esp Monique or Monica & Melissa (‘hope i got their names right) . She was so warm, welcoming, helpful & very pleasant and everyone loves that! - nice classy, modern hotel, with huge room and lots of storage, which was so amazing! - situated at the cana l, lots to do & walking distance to a lot of the areas that you would visit when you are in NOLA, and superdome, also very accessible to public transportation, so you can save paying for vallet & opt to cheaper transportation Cons: - there were crackheads hanging out at the hotel doors every night. they might be guests, locals or what not, who knows?! but one of ‘em was burshing a knife w/ his fingers, which was a bit scary & there was no security by the door. - the fridge & phone in the room wasn’t working, it was reported but has to be outsourced to get fixed, so i had to keep stopping the front desk if I need something. - room supplies were never replenished. I had to come to the front desk frequently to ask for these items, bec of no phone & i didn’t know they were missing until I needed them - coffees in their cafe were almost doubles compare to stabucks"

"Breakfast was fantastic! I stayed at this place for a week and the staff provided delicious food with a wide variety of options. Parking wasn’t an issue since the hotel is in the French Quarter, and everything you want to see is within walking distance. They do charge for parking, but it’s worth it for the convenience. I’d definitely stay again. "

"A very charming older hotel in the middle of Bourbon street. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. Quiet at night near the action but away from the noise!! Enjoyed my stay very much. "

"Our third room was lovely. The new manager Juan was highly accommodating. The first rooms had malfunctioning issues, one being a toilet. To be fair the building is older. But the suite upgrade was appreciated. The bed was firmer and comfortable. They need to upgrade to comforters and not just older blankets. And the towels are stiff and hard. The last room shower and sinks did not drain well either. But the staff were excellent and very kind. Greg from security was fabulous and a good source of knowledge for the city. "

"Wonderful hotel with history in the heart of the French Quarter! The rotating bar is the best! The beds were comfy with excellent pillows- soft and plenty. The bathroom was tight, obviously updated from an older version; the complimentary toiletries a pleasant scent, and the bath robe handy since I forgot mine. I loved the decor and architecture and proximity to fantastic restaurants and musical venues. "
