"Lovely family run hotel with a modern interior vibe in an old town building. Super friendly staff. Excellent room quiet air conditioning a big plus. Restaurant food Excellent, we would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. The staff are excellent, particularly in the FYR restaurant: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is equally impressive and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. "
"Given that they were in the middle of renervations the pub was not open only the room was available but nice and clean once renervations complete will be an ideal place to stay "
"Lovely hotel in a lovely village. Very clean, and we had a very spacious room on the top floor. Note - no lift and no aircon though. Wonderful outdoor patio areas, private resident seating area in the bar which was lovely and the breakfast was superb."

"Lovely hotel with great staff. Evening meal and a pint were very good. Cheese board average. Breakfast was tasty other than the sausage.
Would certainly recommend this hotel. Thanks. "
