"Other than the guy who greeting us and wouldn’t let us check in at 2:00, all the staff was easy going, friendly, and helpful! Very nice and clean hotel, comfy beds, and pets welcome. Nice breakfast where staff didn’t start cleaning up 1/2 hour before it was over. Best part prolly was the actually hot, hot tub and pool hours! We look forward to returning!"

"Worth a trip to Maquoketa, IA just to stay at the Decker Hotel. Charming, historic property at reasonable rates. Serve yourself breakfast was minimal but understandable given the cost. The faithful restoration lets you go back in time while still having modern comforts like central air and updated bathroom. We would go back."
