"I had a lovely short break, the room was clean & well equipped. The accommodation is up quite a steep slope - good exercise! Great view from the balcony, close enough to walk into town at night & very near bus stops to explore the villages along the coast. I only had a backpack so opted to walk to & from the airport."

"Great location, close to the beach (though up a steep hill) with frequent buses. Katerina was lovely and kept our room spotless. I’m sure this property was very lovely in the past, but it now feels tired and misleading compared to the photos. Sea view was limited, outside looked unwelcoming, and the room had several issues: broken drawer, faulty taps, balcony door hard to lock, bedroom door wouldn’t shut, and very uncomfortable pillows. WiFi was unreliable. Check-in and airport transfer were confusing and poorly communicated – we had no response from the property or Expedia beforehand, which made for a stressful arrival. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The location and cleaning were positives, but the property is run down and poorly managed. Sadly, a 2-star stay for us."

"My partner and I apent a wonderful 7-night stay at Hotel Paradise. This is a family-run hotel in which each member of staff can’t do enough to help and accommodate you. The hotel itself is well-laid out to ensure privacy in your rooms/on the balconies. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful. The hotel runs a free minibus service to and from Skiathos town meaning you can easily access the restaurants and shops in this busier area but also choose to stay within the calm environs of the hotel and surrounding gardens. When we return to Skiathos, we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else :)"

"Pros: very friendly staff (felt almost at home), good dining options (buffet, restaurant, bar), free transport to the local beaches (Koukounaries and Maratha) Cons: no lifts. It was difficult to get the pram 3 stairs up and down at least 2-3 times a day. No inclusivity for disabled as well (I've done a reservation for my parents in law, which i had to cancel - received a full refund for this- because there was other means of disabled people to get to different levels. I was disappointed for a 5star hotel, not to have a provision for disabled. Not recommended for families with small kids that have got prams or people with moving difficulties."
