Generally good place to stay, central as it gets. Staff helpful, arranged airport transfers for us. Out of hours check in wasn’t a problem. Communal areas in need of some TLC but rooms were recently modernised.

Old shopping mall buikding turned partly into modern hotel. Centrally situated.

The location was good and the staff was friendly. But they missrepresented the room, they call it a suite and charge 200 extra for an extra person. But its actually just a single small room. And the a/c doesnt work, which makes it really hard to sleep.

The room was large, central location, friendly receptionist. Difficult to find entrance at night as in partially empty shopping centre and limited information provided on booking. Dirty duvets and no food available. No hot water at 8.30pm. In the morning we had hot water but plug blocked and so shower flooded bathroom. No secure storage available for luggage once checked out although the staff did allow us to leave it luggage in hallway.

Not worth the price

Looks nice on pictures, room was big but it looked very used. The bed was so uncomfertable I have back pain. The cleaning lady woke me up every morning and when asked to please come back later she never did... Location is good but I would much rather recommend an airBnB instead with regard to location.. There is also allot of light entering the room so you cant really get any decent sleep..

The bathroom and bed were clean but there was a big stain on the sofa. Automatic check- in was ok but we would have struggled if we had not been brought by a TAXI that was booked via the hotel. TAXI was great

Don't expect too much

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is right at the edge of old town. Very easy to navigate. Hotels.com should not allow to call this place a 4star hotel. Maybe back in the 80s it was, but not by today's standards. I'm not even mad cause you get what you paid for I guess. Not gonna lie though, i was expecting it to be really really really really bad after reading the reviews. The decor could really use an upgrade. The hotel is located on a third floor of an abandoned mall. The pictures online are not the same at all.

Will be back!

I was traveling alone in Split and this was the perfect spot. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, room was super clean and comfortable, and it was just on the edge of the old town. I felt super safe walking to and from the hotel even after dark. Great location and experience.

Not what was expected

We ended up leaving our luggage in the room and finding a different hotel room for our one night stay. Did not realize the rooms sit on top of a huge nightclub that ends at 5am. There was also an “incident” that broke the elevator. Grateful they had access to a different elevator…but this isn’t a great place to stay unless you’re stumbling up from the nightclub looking for a room.

DO NOT BOOK!!! This isn’t a hotel stay, it’s a construction zone. The mall side is under heavy renovation and the only way in is a back entrance shared with the work site. You pass dumpsters, parked cars, and graffiti just to reach the door. Outside lighting is basically just streetlights, and inside the motion sensors don’t kick on until you’re at the elevator, so you’re walking dark hallways. It feels unsafe and neglected. Credit where it’s due, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very basic, just the essentials and old furniture, basically a place to crash. I had a bed, but I didn’t feel safe.

The staff was super friendly and reached out to arrange airport transfers before our arrival. We were located close to a main street leading to the riverwalk. The only issue was that we were able to hear loud music from a disco club into the early morning. Fantastic place other than this minor inconvenience.
