"The front desk people were great, the transport back and forth to our car was excellent. The hotel is in the historic district so interesting design but we like d that, the only issues the room was a little cold, bathroom and as a little tight with no place to put toiletries, the morning breakfast was not very good cold eggs white toast not very good, coffee was good though. Breakfast probably let the hotel down, the breakfast room you can’t swing a cat around and the offer was limited, perhaps as it was 09:30 when we got down there all the good stuff had gone, nevertheless, we will stay there again as it suited our purposes perfectly "

"There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. New bed covers would easily improve the look of the rooms, though the beds themselves were good. The area itself is pretty empty and the nearest town with a supermarket seems to be about seven or eight miles away, so you really need a car, and parking at the resort is free and plentiful. Also an easy drive from the airport. Overall, we had a lovely stay."
